The Voopoo DRAG 5 is the fourth generation of the DRAG series from the renowned Voopoo manufacturer, which prides itself on stylish looks, refined textures and a sufficiently high power output of up to 177W. It is paired with a 5.5ml UForce-X atomizer, compatibility with PnP-X coils and top fill and air access.
Design-wise, the DRAG 5 follows its predecessors in the same series. On the sides, the mod features a design element in the form of a wood/resin panel with just a small DRAG 5 logo on it. The back surface of the mod is then covered in padded leather with the Voopoo logo embossed on it, which adds to the elegance of the mod.
The front control panel is designed to be user-friendly and allows for easy customization through the display and buttons. A slightly raised glow button is placed at the top, with a clear OLED display below, followed by a slider and two position buttons.
The slider adds a great feature, plus you can choose its function yourself. It can be used to lock the glow button, the power setting or the entire device. You can easily choose between these options directly in the settings to make the mode that suits you best.
Together with two 18650 batteries (not included), the mode can reliably deliver up to 177W of power. The battery slot is conveniently located in the back and can be accessed by sliding it out. Of course, it is also possible to ultra-fast charge the batteries directly in the mode via the USB-C port with a current of up to 3A.
The mode is equipped with the proven GENE TT 2.0 chip, coming with Smart and RBA output modes and an economical ECO mode, extending battery life by up to 10%. It also comes with a new Smart Temperature Mode that can detect the resistance of the filament material (Ni200, Ti, SS316 and SS430) and set the most optimal temperature for it.
You can easily fit atomizers with diameters up to 26mm without overlap. In the package you will find the UForce-X atomizer already designed for the kit. The tank impresses with its 5.5ml capacity and wide compatibility with all PnP-X glow heads. It will suit not only DL, but also the stiffer RDL coating. The tank has a top air access, which is practical not only because it eliminates atomizer leakage. The fill is also located at the top under the retractable topcap.
