VooPoo Argus E40 Pod 1800mAh

The manufacturer VooPoo is expanding its portfolio of POD devices with a new piece. This time it is an addition to the Argus series. The Argus E40 offers a large, 1800 mAh battery, adjustable power up to 40W and flexibility within the draws. It offers a loose MTL, as well as an RDL and a fully loose DL. The stiffness of the draw can also be adjusted with the airflow control slider. The device offers both push-button fire as well as a simple draw.

The dimensions of the device are 114 x 31.2 x 22.6 mm. The weight is only 60 g. The body is made of zinc alloy and plastic. The appearance of the device is of a pleasing and subtly extravagant style. The front side is dominated by the Argus logo and the OLED display below it. The display shows the battery status, selected power, resistance and number of puffs. On the sides of the display there are then raster graphics that further indicate the battery status (green 100-60%, blue 60-20% and red 20-0%).

Below the display is the VooPoo logo underneath the clear plastic. On the sides you will find a fire button and a slider to adjust the stiffness of the draw. The back of the device contains a transparent window under which part of the electronics can be seen. The USB-C port is then located at the bottom of the device.

The device is powered by the Gene.AI 2.0 chipset. This offers up to 40W of power and a range of protections. The power can be freely adjusted. Furthermore, the device also offers a SMART mode, which sets the optimal power for the user according to the inserted resistance.

Within the Argus E40 cartridges, the user has a choice. You can use cartridges specifically for this device, with 0.3 and 0.6 ohm cartridges included in the package, but you also have the option of using the factory PNP-X coils in 0.3 and 0.6 ohm resistances along with the Argus PNP-X cartridges. In both cases, the cartridge has a 4.5 ml capacity and fills through a silicone plug on the front of the cartridge. Whichever way you choose, you can always enjoy a great flavour delivery.

The device offers a battery capacity of 1800 mAh. This offers great single charge life and fast, 2A charging via the USB-C port when needed.
