Manufacturer Oxva comes with a device that is sure to appeal to customers of the ever-growing DL POD segment. The Oxva VPrime offers truly rich parameters. It has a 5ml volume with up to 60W of power and a huge 2600mAh battery. Of course, there is also a stiffness control for the draw and a combination of automatic draw or button fire.
The VPrime POD has a sleek look and really high quality workmanship. The device is made of zinc alloy and PCTG, complemented by faux leather elements and other decors. The dimensions are 105.5 x 38 x 23.5 mm. Even though the device is equipped with a large battery, the weight has remained at a pleasant 116 g. The front is dominated by a large colour display with a fire button and a notification LED strip. On the right side, there is a double button for navigating the user interface. On the left side you will find a slider for adjusting the stiffness of the draw. The USB-C connector is located on the bottom of the device.
The device is capable of outputting 5 - 60 W. Optimal power is automatically determined by loading the cartridge. However, you can also adjust it freely. However, the power range is limited within the range specified by the manufacturer for each type of cartridge to prevent damage to the cartridge. There is a push-button ignition, but also automatic detection on the draw.
The manufacturer has prepared equally ingenious cartridges for the device. These feature the new Unitech 2.0 technology, where the mesh coil has been optimized for even better flavor delivery, longer life and rich flavor. The cartridges have a 5ml capacity and are refillable from the side via a silicone cap. Resistances are available for the full range of draws, namely 0.2 Ω for a pure DL draw, 0.4 Ω for a stiffer DL/RDL draw and 0.6 Ω for an RDL or looser MTL draw.
The device is equipped with a large, integrated 2600 mAh battery. It can be recharged relatively quickly via the USB-C port with 2A charging.
