Geekvape once again takes POD device design to a new level. New to its product portfolio is the Digi Pod Max. It offers up to 80W of power, a large, 3000mAh battery, a 1.47" touchscreen and a 5ml capacity. Of course, there's also a draw stiffness control, fast charging and draw/button activation.
At first glance, the devicelooks a bit oty, but with its dimensions of 112.16 x 34.18 mm it fits perfectly in your hands. The body is made of the traditional combination of zinc alloy and plastic with engraving. The design is minimalistic yet novel.
On the front, the device boasts a 1.47" touchscreen with 2k resolution that has a nicely crafted UI animation. There is also a glow button. On the sides, there are RGB strips which also have a notification function and a choice of color combinations. On the bottom side, you will then find a USB-C connector and a locking slider. The air control is located, somewhat unconventionally, on the cartridge at its top.
The device is capable of outputting up to 80W and has several output modes. Specifically, there are the SMART mode - which automatically selects the optimum output, BOOST - which speeds up the vaporazing, ECO - for longer battery life at the expense of glow speed, and CUSTOM - which is used to individually select the output. Of course there are a number of protections for safe use.
The device supports J (with integrated coil) and JR (with insertable coils) cartridges. The cartridges have a capacity of 5ml and you can choose from a range of resistances for your preferred type of draw, namely 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. The manufacturer also promises 0.2 and 0.3 ohm resistances, which will arrive later. In both cases, the glow heads feature mesh for great flavor delivery. The cartridge is rivetable from the side.
The device has a 3000 mAh battery, which depending on the level of use and the resistance chosen can last up to three days. The device also features a fast 5V/2A charge, where 1/3 of the capacity can charge the device in 20 minutes.
