The manufacturer Geekvape brings a truly robust single battery mode with its Aegis Max 2 (Max100). The main attributes are 100W of power, support for a single 18650/21700 battery and IP68 standard water and dust protection. Beyond water and dust, the design also protects electronics from shock.
The mode design is based on other Aegis modes. The design is made of stainless steel with a combination of rubber and synthetic leather and measures 93 x 46 x 34mm. All controls, including the 1.08" colour TFT display are located on the front. The mod has a USB-C connector and the battery door is located on the bottom. The device also has a dedicated lock button on the left side.
The manufacturer has placed a price chip in the mod which is identical to the second generation Aegis. This provides power in the range of 5-100W and several output modes. Apart from the classic Power mode, the mode also offers Smart mode for automatic power detection, Boosting for the fastest possible glow, Memory with up to five presets, ECO and TCR.
The mod has a slot for one 18650 or 21700 external battery and the ability to charge via USB-C.
