The manufacturer Dotmod comes with another version of its bestselling DotAIO. This time in version X, which also provides unprecedented modularity.
This hot new AIO box boasts not only the ability to run DotAIO tanks, but also Boro R4 and squonk atomizers with 510 thread (Boro R4 and squonk adapters must be purchased seperately). The device also offers up to 60W of power, 4ml of volume thanks to the DotAIO V3 tank and its associated operation on factory coils, a variety of output modes and last but not least a slot for one 18650 battery.
In terms of build quality, we're used to premiumness with DotMod and the DotAIO X is no exception. The construction is again made of aluminium alloy. The dimensions are 90 x 47 mm. The appearance is minimalistic. All the controls can be found on the front. The device consists of three detachable parts. The tube with the battery, the part that hides all the electronics and the module for the tank (possibility to buy the module for Boro R4 or squonk tank for atomizers with 510 thread). All parts are held together by strong magnets and a removable front panel.
The device provides power in the range of 5-60W. Output modes are Power, Auto mode (which automatically adjusts power according to the inserted ignition head), Curve and Bypass.
The Essential kit includes a redesigned dotAIO V3 tank in the package. This will offer a completely redesigned airflow and higher capacity. The tank uses dotCoil coils. They make the device very flexible in terms of coatings. It can be used on DL, RDL and MTL. Tank capacity is 4ml and is refillable through a silicone cap.
