Cthulhu Craftsman 85W MOD

After a short break, the manufacturer Cthulhu is making his presence known again. A new feature in its porfolio is the regulated Craftsman MOD. Fans of the brand would be very surprised if this time it is not a small, compact, single battery device. And also, it is! But Craftsman MOD also adds lightness this time around. The 68.6g weight, without battery, is achieved by using delrin for the construction of the device. It will provide 85W of power and a slot for one 18650 battery (not included).

Although the body of the mod is made of plastic, it is not a fragile device at all. The delrin makes the device very sturdy, allowing the device to withstand many a drop. The dimensions are really compact and are only 81 x 35 x 26.6 mm. The mod fits perfectly in the hands and everyone will really find their grip. The manufacturer has opted for a somewhat unconventional design. Right from the start, the absence of a battery door catches the eye, thus taking considerable inspiration from quite a few Boro AIO devices.

On the sides of the device there are polycarbonate panels, where their color is different from the selected color variant, and one of them has a socket for a USB-C port. The top 510 thread casing is made of SS304 stainless steel. On the front, you'll find standard controls in the form of three buttons that can be swapped out for Cthulhu AIO compatible ones if needed. Furthermore, the front panel houses the OLED display which is covered, along with the chipset, by a transparent piece of polycarbonate.

The chipset of the device is the Atom chip, which we know from other models of the manufacturer. It offers up to 85W of power and a variety of other output modes: (VV/TC/TCR/Bypass). The power supply is provided by a single 18650 battery (not included). If necessary, the device can be charged via the USB-C port.

A number of accessories are included in the package in the form of shrink wrap for the battery, protective film against scratches on the top metal plate (for 510 thread), USB-C cable and silicone plugs for the USB-C port.
